Gall face is one of the most beloved locations of local travellers within Srilanka. This is a paradise for young couples who have fallen in love. the rustling sound of sea waves that kisses the beach makes everyone so happy. Galle’s face is actually a seaside urban park that has a total area of 500 meter. Earlier,this park had more land when Sir, George Henry Ward laid this promenade. However, the motive of them was to use this area as a racing course as well as a golf course. But people have used it earlier for sports such as cricket, tennis, rugby, polo and football.
However, this has become a place where all the young couples get together in the evening. While young couples enjoy the freedom of love at Galle’s face, little children run here and there playing and enjoying here in the evenings.
Galle’s Face is not a good place to visit in the afternoon. This location has no much trees around and therefore the beams of the sun kiss the sand on the beach directly. So early morning and the evening are the best durations to visit Galle – Face. Little kiosks are open in the evening at Galle face’s beach to sell delicious snacks for the visitors.
